1. Company Information

2. Definitions

• "Service" means the Lumora platform accessible at lumora.ai, including AI image generation, background removal, and image editing tools.
• "Credits" means the virtual in-platform currency purchased by users to access Service features. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be transferred, and are not redeemable for cash.
• "Account" means the registered user account giving access to the Service.
• "User", "you" means any individual or legal entity accessing or using the Service.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an Account, purchasing Credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. Users must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction).

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an Account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your Account. Notify us immediately at support@lumora.ai of any unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for more than 24 months.

5. Credits — Virtual Currency

5.1 Nature of Credits

Credits are a virtual in-platform currency with no real-world monetary value. They are:

• Non-transferable between Accounts
• Not redeemable for cash or any other currency
• Not a financial instrument, e-money, or cryptocurrency
• Valid for use within the Service only

5.2 Purchasing Credits

Credits are sold in packages at prices displayed in GBP on the checkout page. All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed via secure third-party payment providers. By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge to your selected payment method.

5.3 Credit Packages and Pricing

Current Credit packages, prices, and the number of Credits per package are displayed on the pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Price changes do not affect already purchased Credits.

5.4 No Refund Policy

All Credit purchases are final and non-refundable once the Credits have been issued to your Account. By completing a purchase you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Digital content delivery begins immediately upon purchase;
• You waive any statutory right of withdrawal under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 upon confirming the purchase;
• Credits have been made available for immediate use.

Exceptions: We will issue a refund if (a) you were charged for a purchase you did not make due to our technical error, or (b) Credits were not delivered to your Account within 24 hours due to our system fault. To request a refund under these exceptions, contact support@lumora.ai within 7 days of the transaction.

5.5 Credit Expiry

Credits do not expire while your Account remains active. Credits associated with a terminated or suspended Account will be forfeited.

6. Using the Service

6.1 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate, process, or distribute:

• Content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
• Deepfakes or non-consensual intimate imagery;
• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Spam, malware, or any harmful code.

6.2 Intellectual Property

Images you generate using the Service are owned by you, subject to these Terms and any third-party model licences. You grant Lumora a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your inputs solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your generated images.

Lumora name, logo, and all platform code remain the exclusive intellectual property of Lumora Ltd.

7. Payments and Security

All card transactions are processed over encrypted connections (TLS 1.2+). We do not store full card numbers. Payment processing complies with PCI DSS standards. Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, and others as displayed at checkout.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by Service unavailability, except where required by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumora Ltd's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid for Credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and Lumora Ltd agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any dispute, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

EU and EEA consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/odr.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
